On 19-20 June 2025, Ihor Tsependa, Acting Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Valentyna Yakubiv, First Vice-Rector, and Iryna Hryhoruk, EDUC-WIDE Project Manager, are taking part in the meetings of the Council of Rectors and the Steering Board of the European University Alliance EDUC in Rennes, France.

The agenda of the meeting includes strategic discussions on the future development of the alliance, strengthening international cooperation, supporting research, promoting digitalisation and participating in the formation of EU higher education policy.

Particular attention is paid to the vision of EDUC’s development after 2025. The visit also included an official meeting with representatives of the Rennes City Hall as a sign of support for European educational integration and the city’s openness to scientific and academic partnerships.

In addition, a number of bilateral meetings were held with representatives of partner universities to coordinate future joint student and staff exchange programmes and expand academic mobility.
